How Switchbar compares
Switchbar opens every link in the right browser, profile, or app. It's free, needs no account, and runs on Mac and Windows. Here's how it compares with other apps people consider, based on each product's own website and documentation.
Switchbar vs. OpenIn
A simple, free link picker for Mac and Windows, instead of a scripting toolkit.
Switchbar vs. Choosy
The same everyday flow, free on Mac and Windows, with link cleanup built in.
Switchbar vs. Velja
The essentials of a great browser picker, free on Mac and Windows, in 30 languages.
Switchbar vs. Finicky
A picker and point-and-click rules, instead of a JavaScript config file.
Switchbar vs. Browserosaurus
An actively maintained picker with browser profiles, rules, and link cleanup.
Switchbar vs. Browser Tamer
A friendly picker and simple rules, instead of a power-user rule engine.
Switchbar vs. Hurl
Browser profiles found for you and clean links, on Windows and Mac.
